The Business Forum awarded $25,000 in scholarships for 2006. The 10 recipients were:

Cynthia Walton Jackson - Judy Rose Scholarship - Pursuing a degree in Psychology

Kimberly D'Anna - Finishing her Ph.D in Zoology and Masters in Social Work

Sueli Goulert - Getting her graduate degree in curriculum and instruction, as well as a reading license, with plans to be a bilingual reading specialist

Denise Hardnett - Studying Visual Communications

Mee Her - Wants to be a doctor and someday open a clinic for minorities

Fawn Houck - Sophomore in the School of Education with plans to be a high school math teacher.

Maureen Muzorewa - Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management

Mai Vue Thao - Getting her Masters in Nursing and Pediatrics

Kia Vang - Getting her Associate degree in Registered Nursing with plans to work in geriatrics

Mai Yia Xiong - Getting a degree in Astronomy
