Scholarship Program

Since 1989, TBF has awarded over $464,000 in scholarships to support women of all ages in pursuing higher education goals.

TBF awards 5 to 6 scholarships each year, ranging from $500 to $3500. The Judy Rose Scholarship – named after one of TBF’s founders, Judy Rose – is our largest scholarship, and is awarded to an adult woman returning to school.

The application process for scholarships begins in November, with the application deadline in February. The TBF Community Investment Committee (CIC) members then carefully review each application and select applicants for personal interviews. Recipients are invited to our May Scholarship luncheon to receive their scholarships.

Support our scholarships

Most of the fundraising TBF does throughout the year directly benefits our scholarship fund; we couldn’t do what we do without the support of our members and the outside community. To get involved, please attend any of our events, sponsor an event , or make a donation directly to the TBF Scholarship fund.
